Note: This page contains two separate privacy policies. The first section covers the privacy practices for the Sharpixel website and its services. The second and third sections, titled "RanchScan App Privacy Policy" and "ClauseWatch App Privacy Policy" cover the privacy practices specifically for the RanchScan and ClauseWatch mobile applications respectively. Please read the section that applies to your use.

 

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

When you contact us or conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

We collect such Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services or partnership;

  2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

  5. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to communicate for partnerships, and sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

RanchScan App Privacy Policy

RanchScan ("the App") is operated by Sharpixel Technologies.

- Photos you choose to upload for analysis
- Scan results and measurements you save to history

**How We Use Your Data**
- Photos are sent to our servers for AI analysis and are not stored permanently
- Scan history is stored in our secure database linked to your account
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties

- Anthropic Claude API (AI analysis) — images are processed and not retained
- Supabase (database) — scan history storage
- Railway (API hosting)

ClauseWatch App Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

ClauseWatch ("the App") is owned and operated by Sharpixel LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. We have designed ClauseWatch with a strict **privacy-first** approach: **your documents are never stored on our servers.**

2. What We Collect

### Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

- **Email address** — to create and authenticate your account

- **Account ID** — a unique identifier assigned to your account

- **Subscription status** — whether you have a free or paid plan, and scan count

 

3. What We Do NOT Collect

- **Your documents** — document content is processed in real time and immediately discarded. We do not store, retain, or log any document you analyze.

- **Analysis results** — clause scores, explanations, and analysis results are held in device memory during your session only and are never sent to our database.

- **Scan history** — we do not maintain a history of your past documents or analyses.

- **Location data** — we do not collect your location.

- **Payment information** — payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

4. How Your Documents Are Processed

 

When you upload or scan a document:

1. The text is extracted on your device

2. The text is transmitted to the **Anthropic Claude API** for AI analysis

3. The analysis results are returned to your device and displayed

4. **Neither the document text nor the results are stored anywhere by ClauseWatch**

5. When you leave the analysis screen, all data is discarded from memory

 

Anthropic processes document text according to their privacy policy at [anthropic.com/privacy](https://www.anthropic.com/privacy). Anthropic does not receive your account information — only the document text you choose to analyze.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use account information (email, account ID, subscription status) solely for:

- **Authentication** — signing you in and verifying your identity

- **Subscription management** — tracking your plan and remaining scan count

- **Account deletion** — permanently removing all your data when requested

 

We do **not** use your data for advertising, marketing, analytics, or any purpose other than operating the app.

6. Third-Party Services

Supabase is used to store account information (email address, plan status, and scan count only). Their privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

Anthropic Claude API is used for AI document analysis. Only the text of documents you choose to analyze is transmitted — your account information is never shared with Anthropic. Anthropic does not retain document text. Their privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.

Apple In-App Purchases handles all subscription payments. We never see or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy is available at apple.com/legal/privacy.

7. Data Retention

  • Account data (email, plan status) is retained while your account is active.

  • Document content and analysis results are never retained.

  • Upon account deletion, all account data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)

  • Secure cloud database storage via Supabase

  • Access controls limiting who can access user data

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data — view your scan history within the app

  • Delete your account and all associated data — available in the app under Profile → Delete Account

  • Correct your information — contact us at info@sharpixeltech.com

  • Export your data — contact us at info@sharpixeltech.com

10. Children's Privacy

ClauseWatch is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@sharpixeltech.com and we will delete it immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
